The CAMPLEX PRO-X2 NTSC/PAL video camera signal multiplexing system is designed to universally interface with prosumer cameras and camcorders. The compact, light weight PRO-X2 will provide the prosumer camera/camcorder user
with the unique capability to reliably create live, or taped,
remote multi-camera video productions.
Distances up to 3,000 ft. may be achieved depending upon the camera’s power requirement and the Nominal Attenuation and DC Resistance specifications of the coaxial cable used. Triax cable may also be used.
The signals of the PRO-X2 operate within an overall bandwidth of DC to approximately 25 mhz to deliver the following signals between the PRO-X2 Control Unit and the remote camera that is connected to the PRO-X2 Camera Adapter:
From Control Unit to remote Camera Adapter
1. DC operating power for camera and Camera Adapter
2. Control Unit operator intercom
3. Camera Adapter front, rear and side tally lights
From remote Camera Adapter to Control Unit:
1. Camera composite video
2. Camera program audio
3. Camera operator intercom
The system includes two intercom headsets; IEC AC power cord; cable strain relief; a warranty statement post card; and an operator’s instruction manual. Interface cables that connect the camera adapter with the user’s camera to provide audio and video, and camera power interface are camera specific and are sold seperately. Docking adapter also sold seperately.
